Wow. Thats really cheap. I payed £49 for mine from the Apple Store about... 6 months to a year ago. Something like that. So thats like $90. Wow, that really puts things into comparison. It's so much more expensive here.

Wow, that's a radical difference! It's $89 in retail stores here (Canada, not the UK ). I actually got it for $47 + tax and shipping, which was a super deal.

Even more of an incentive for people in the US to buy a G5

I had a Mighty Mouse where someone apparently pressed on the ball so hard that it bent the spring underneath, so the ball was stuck down and wouldn't spring back up. Not only couldn't it scroll, but it recognized every click as a middle click. Anyway, I cut it open and bent the spring back. Seems that the Mighty Mouse isn't quite mighty enough for some people. I love it though... never again will I be able to right-click a mouse without lifting my left finger.

I got sick of my Mighty Mouse and purchased a refurbished Logitech MX Revolution from Amazon. It arrived a few days ago, but it was DOA. Amazon is shipping me a new one (you get free 2 day shipping on replacements). As a side note, Amazon's replacement policy is awesome. You can identify a product as defective on it's site, and you are shipped a new one with two day shipping, regardless of your shipping speed for the original product. You don't get charged for this unless the old one isn't received within 30 days.

Man, the MX Revolution is sweet though. Feels great in my hand, and the scroll wheel is the greatest thing I've ever seen. There's two modes for the scroll wheel, a normal, ratcheted mode, and a super-cool free spinning mode. The mouse didn't connect to the dongle, so I couldn't test any of its functions, but the form is incredible. I'll give a more detailed report when the new one comes, assuming that one works.

I hope with the growing Apple market share that the peripheral manufacturers will start making more Mac compatible blue tooth hardware. From what I have heard, the Logitech stuff has problems (not so much the mouse, but the keyboards).

I will probably follow BBB's lead and go with the MX Revolution. It looks and feels like a great mouse.

My replacement MX Revolution arrived today. It is a working model, and man is this thing sweet. If the price is what holds you back, try buying a refurb from Amazon.

My mighty mouse is now in a drawer, only to be used as a backup.
