I jailbroke my Touch less than an hour after I got it home. I knew beforehand I was going to do that, as I'd bought it to use as an eBook reader and needed to enable disk mode and to install the Books app.

I'd rather not have had to jaibreak the Touch, hopefully I'll be able to go back to the standard version after software version 2 comes out.

@kho95: As Ginamos said, tap and hold any icon until you start to see all the icons wiggle. You can then drag any icon to any location. Also, if you want to put one of the icons not on the dock, onto the dock - then first drag an icon off the dock to make a space, then you can drag the icon down unto the dock that you want to add. This only works with the Jan '08 update,

As notabadname mentioned, the ability to move icons is not a feature of 1.1.3. You must buy the $20 January Software Update if you wish to do this and you bought your iPod pre-update.
