Just bought a 15" Refurb MacBook Pro (RFB MBP 15/2.5/2X1GB/250-5400 with the 512Mb graphics card) last night! The refurb saves a handsome $350. I haven't been this excited to see FedEx since I bought my G5, years ago. TAB has been a great source for me in deciding what to get. The graphics card and express slot were the main tie-breakers for me against a loaded Black MB. I just have to have access to the WWW, and Wi-Fi is to limited and provided by too many different people in all the hotels and airports I frequent. I spend up to 18 days a month on the road (or in the air-more accurately). Most of the Hotels I stay in charge $10/day to connect, so in my case, even $60/month for an AT&T data package saves money. As a note from the "Read this first" thread, I went with the matt screen. So much light and glass in Boston's beautiful new Apple Store that there was no contest for me when confronted with all the glare and reflections. The back-lit keys will definitely be enjoyed on the night flights and dark planes, and I think the 15" screen will be easier on the eyes in Photoshop.

Anyway, valued all the comments in this an other threads. Been mulling this one over for a few months. Now it is time to get smart on Boot Camp and Fusion. Come . . . . on FedEx . . . . .

Congrats man, you won't regret it. It's good to see a well thought out purchase for a change. I am still mulling over getting a data card, though I am constantly leaning towards it. I might next month, and when I do we will certainly have to have a comparison thread.

Congrats on the purchase notabadname (as I mentioned in another thread)! I'm kind of wanting a MBP now too, but money is tight. Must make due with my trusty MacBook!

Thanks everyone! A longer response (probably too long ) is on the Parallels V. Fusion thread.
