Hi all, I am looking for a projector to project pictures and movies from my (to be newly achieved 2.66) iMac. It is to be used in my living room, and need not be ultra-portable. It should however be very good at black and white "slide show" projecting, with blacks being deep, a wide range of grays in between, and with adequate resolution. Also, I would like to be able to view high definition movies, but I am not at all familiar with this (dvd)format yet, as my G4 1.5 12" Powerbook struggles with HD-content. Ah yes, of course price is important as well...
It would be great if you could share some advice, recommendations, experiences, websites etcetera. Thanks! Last edited by Yuiichi; 06-08-2008 at 08:23 PM. Reason: Changed "beamer" to "projector". |

That confused me at first, when I saw the thread. I don't think I can help here at all though because I know nothing about projectors. I have really fallen behind in the entertainment technology realm since I got rid of my TV and HD came to the US but no where else. It's hard to care when you are living in the dark ages of the UK.
