When I navigate to http://www.theappleblog.com/community/, I am not logged in. I log in and it says "Thanks for logging in, Galley", but then it appears like I am not logged in (the username and password fields are blank). If I go to any of the sub-forums, I am indeed logged in, and then I can use the "View new posts" button. I thought it might be a cookie problem, so I deleted every cookie that contained "theappleblog". That had no effect.

OK, this is weird. I checked my cookies again and they were all still there (about a dozen or so). I deleted them again, closed Safari, and sure enough they were still there.

Hmm. That's odd. This is definitely the first time I've heard this problem.

Have you tried Firefox to see what it does? (not saying you should _switch_ to firefox...just curious of it's a browser problem or what)

Are you using Safari 3? Maybe it's a bug.

In any case, your cookies are in a property list in ~/Library/Cookies if you still want to delete them.

It does it on every single browser I try Safari, Firefox, Camino and Opera. Simply removing the www. fixes it. I don't know why it acts like that.
